Radar Healthcare is delighted to be joining the Association of British HealthTech Industries (ABHI) US Accelerator 2023 cohort, with the aim to promote the strengths of UK HealthTech stateside.
A leading group from the world of health technology is taking part in this year’s cohort. Together they constitute a diverse mix of medical devices, diagnostics, and digital health businesses, several of which are long-standing members of the programme, along with a host of new entrants.
Together they will showcase the excellence of the UK’s HealthTech industry and highlight the strength of UK innovation – seeking to strengthen trade ties between the two regions.
Along with the 2023 cohort of innovators, Radar Healthcare will be showcasing our all-in-one risk, quality, and compliance system, including our revised audits module and roadmap for the future, alongside engaging with new stakeholders and exploring key markets.
CEO and co-founder of Radar Healthcare Paul Johnson is rearing to go: “It has been such a journey to where Radar Healthcare stands today, and we’re really excited to meet with like-minded organisations who have just as much a passion for improving healthcare as we do. Our team is eager to learn more about the US healthcare industry and share our insight from being a leading voice in the UK and the Middle East on patient safety.”
The ABHI US Accelerator Programme is a 12-month programme designed to support UK HealthTech companies accessing the US healthcare market. The programme provides participants with mentorship and access to a network of industry experts to help them grow and succeed.
The 2023 programme will run from January 2023 – December 2023. A centrepiece of the programme is ABHI’s calendar of trade missions, which take place throughout the year, taking members to key states across the US and providing them with prime opportunities to engage with key stakeholders for their individual company objectives and present proven UK HealthTech to new clients.
The first mission for the new class of ABHI US Accelerator companies will take place in Austin, San Antonio, and El Paso, from 26 February – 31 March, followed by visits to Tennessee, California, and Florida throughout the remainder of the year.
Paul Benton, Managing Director, International, ABHI commented: “We are delighted that our programme continues to attract such high calibre applicants. The ABHI US Accelerator is an excellent platform for UK HealthTech innovators looking to tap into the US healthcare market. In helping companies to define and de-risk their market entry strategy, it also acts as a catalyst for growth, offering access to senior physicians, c-suite level health system executives, payers, and a broad network of US healthcare contacts. We look forward to supporting each company in their individual objectives to grow and succeed within one of the world’s largest HealthTech markets.”
