This month, we are excited to be joining Skills for Care in #CelebratingSocialCare. To understand why, a bit more about Radar Healthcare and our values, as well as to find out more about how we’re getting involved and how you can too, see below.

Why are we celebrating social care this month?

As a health and social care supplier, we are passionate about taking the time to recognise and celebrate all the hard-working, dedicated, and amazing individuals who are making a positive difference within the industry.

As we know, sometimes, social care professionals are overworked and underappreciated, so uplifting and showcasing their brilliant work is something we try to do as openly and often as we can – and this is why we are proud to be joining Skills for Care in their campaign to celebrate the social care sector throughout April.

“The benefits of implementing one single platform such as Radar Healthcare will save time on admin which they can ultimately give back to our residents in the form of care.”

How are we #CelebratingSocialCare?

We are very proud to work with a range of social care organisations and services, and in April we’re, primarily, #CelebratingSocialCare by reflecting on our partners and the amazing work they do daily.

Our podcast, #WhatTheHealthTech, was launched as a platform for those working in health and social care to talk about challenges, have open discussions, and share best practices across the industry – and over the last year there have been lots of discussions around many trending topics featuring. For instance, mental health, culture, health inequalities, how to drive change, the new CQC regulation, and many more. Catch up on our latest episodes here.

Jasmeet Rai, Associate Director at RCH Care Homes, member of the Institute of Health and Social Care Managements Social Care Innovators People Plan Subcommittee, and recent guest on our What the HealthTech? Podcast, Caring about Care, recently co-launched the People Plan for social care. The People Plan, written by forward-thinking individuals and industry experts, is a call to action for everyone working and living in social care and aims to offer real and practical solutions. Read the People Plan here.

Look out for the episode on the 27th of April, when Jasmeet will be back to discuss the People Plan alongside Adam Purnell and Palvi Dodhia.

Since launching the podcast in April 2022, we have asked all our guests “what is your What The HealthTech moment?” As you can imagine, we have heard everything from the truly weird and wonderful to emotional and life-changing – and these stories are just a snippet of the amazing people and work being done within the community.

And Radar Healthcare’s support and celebration of the social care sector doesn’t begin and end in April. We are always looking for innovative and new ways to support the care community. Recently we announced we will be sponsoring the Leaders in Care Awards for the 3rd year in a row – we hope to see you there!

"The most important thing for us as a business is that we are providing the best care possible to our residents. By simplifying our systems stack and streamlining our business processes with Radar Healthcare, we’ve been able to save our operations team valuable time that they can now spend caring for our residents, rather than completing documentation."
