Our partnership with Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Trust

Radar Healthcare to partner with Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Trust

It is a pleasure to announce that Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust (GSTT) has partnered with Radar Healthcare to introduce its award-winning risk management and compliance software to its five main hospitals and community services: St Thomas’ Hospital, Evelina London Children’s Hospital, Royal Brompton Hospital, Harefield Hospital and community services in Lambeth and Southwark.

They will implement Radar Healthcare’s one system to manage risk, quality and compliance, helping the teams to align with the new electronic health record system due to start in April 2023 to transform the Trust’s processes.

We currently have four separate risk management software systems across the whole Trust. We look forward to working with Radar Healthcare to deliver technology which could integrate seamlessly across all our hospitals and community sites and that can be designed to suit our requirements.

In addition to helping GSTT consolidate its processes, Radar Healthcare will support the Trust in launching the Learn from Patient Safety Events (LFPSE) service and becoming ‘ready and resilient’ for the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF).
The Trust’s partnership with Radar Healthcare hopes to make the lives easier of its 23,000 employees, while allowing it to improve safety for its teams and the 2.5 million patients it provides care for each year.The Radar Healthcare platform has been developed to future-proof healthcare organisations when meeting regulatory standards. Its flexibility allows for Trusts like Guy’s and St. Thomas’ to focus on one single, easy-to-use platform, and configure new processes and frameworks, such as LFPSE and PSIRF, in a way that is logical to them.

This was a highly competitive tender and we’re proud to have been chosen by Guy’s and St Thomas’ as its risk, quality and compliance partner.

The Trust didn’t want a rigid, off-the-shelf system. Instead, it wanted a platform and a partnership that could respond to its specific needs and enable them to transform processes without restriction.
