Dominique Allwood HeadshotRadar Healthcare is proud to announce the appointment of Dr Dominique Allwood to its Board of Directors, marking a significant milestone in the company’s journey to transform healthcare through data-driven innovation and intelligent systems.

Dominique brings over two decades of experience in UK healthcare, spanning clinical practice, policy, consultancy, and leadership across a wide range of organisations. Her appointment reflects Radar Healthcare’s commitment to driving meaningful change in health and social care through strategic partnerships, digital transformation, and a relentless focus on quality improvement.

Currently serving as CEO of Imperial College Health Partners, Dominique leads a health innovation partnership covering a population of three million people in northwest London. The organisation brings together hospitals, universities, and the integrated care system to accelerate the adoption of innovation that benefits patients and communities. In addition, she holds the role of Director of Population Health at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and continues to practice as a public health physician.

Dominique comments:

“I’m thrilled to be joining Radar Healthcare at such a pivotal time. The company’s mission aligns with my passion for improving healthcare quality, equity, and outcomes through innovation, data, and learning. I’m excited to contribute to Radar Healthcare’s growth and impact, both in the UK and internationally.”

A Career Built on Innovation and Improvement

Dominique’s career has been defined by a deep commitment to improving healthcare systems. She has led numerous initiatives focused on quality improvement, digital transformation, and population health. Her experience spans provider and payer organisations, research, academia, and consultancy, giving her a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing modern healthcare.

Her work has consistently focused on how to deliver care better. Dominique states:

“Over the years, I’ve moved from focusing more specifically on quality and safety to thinking about how we truly innovate and transform care. That means using data intelligently, fostering a culture of learning, and designing systems that support continuous improvement.”

Why Radar Healthcare?

Dominique’s decision to join Radar Healthcare was driven by the company’s alignment with her values and expertise.

“Radar Healthcare is doing something really important – bringing together disparate systems and data into one place to help organisations learn, improve, and make better decisions,” she said. “It’s not just about compliance or reporting; it’s about freeing up staff time, improving efficiency, learning but ultimately delivering better care.”

She highlighted Radar Healthcare’s role in supporting organisations to move beyond outdated systems and embrace integrated, intelligent platforms.

“During the COVID 19 pandemic, I helped set up the Nightingale hospitals and developed a learning system approach to managing quality. That experience showed me how powerful the right digital tools can be. Radar Healthcare’s solutions are built with that same ethos – supporting organisations to learn, adapt, and improve in real time.

Ultimately, I don’t want to be involved in things that don’t have an impact. I’m confident that Radar Healthcare is here to do that.”

Driving Digital Transformation

Dominique sees Radar Healthcare as well-positioned to lead in the evolving landscape of digital health.

“We’re seeing a major shift in healthcare policy, especially in England, with strong commitments to digital transformation,” she said. “But it’s not just about digitising old processes – it’s about rethinking how we deliver care using data, AI, and predictive analytics.”

“Without using data and digital to inform, change, and innovate care, we’re not going to be able to keep up with growing demand, rising costs, poor outcomes, and widening gaps in health.”

Dominique believes Radar Healthcare can play a key role in helping health systems become smarter and more proactive.

“We need to move from counting what went wrong to predicting and preventing issues before they happen. Radar Healthcare is already doing that work, and I’m excited to help shape its future direction.”

Governance for Innovation

As a board member, Dominique brings a clear vision for governance in a fast-moving healthcare environment.

“Good governance is about accountability, transparency, and risk management – but it also needs to be agile and values-driven,” she said. “It’s not just about assurance; it’s about strategy and culture change. That’s especially important when organisations are under pressure and resources are tight.”

She emphasised the importance of balancing compliance with innovation.

“We need governance structures that support transformation, not stifle it. Radar Healthcare understands that, and I’m looking forward to contributing to that balance.”

Looking Ahead

Dominique joins Radar Healthcare at a time of exciting momentum and strategic ambition. With a clear vision for growth, innovation, and impact, she is energised by the company’s direction and proud to be part of a team that’s already making a difference across health and social care.

“I’m really keen to be part of a company that’s not only growing, but growing with purpose,” Dominique shared. “Radar Healthcare already has a strong foundation and reputation, and now it’s about expanding that reach, deepening relationships, and continuing to deliver meaningful impact.”

She sees Radar Healthcare as a market leader in healthcare transformation – one that is already helping organisations improve care, drive smarter decision-making, and embed innovation at scale.

“Radar Healthcare understands that it is about working closely with organisations and systems to support real change – not just implementing technology but helping people use it to transform how care is delivered, both in the UK and globally. I’m excited to contribute to its journey and help shape the next chapter.”

A Message to Customers and Partners

To Radar Healthcare’s customers, partners, and internal team, Dominique shared a message of enthusiasm and collaboration.

“I’m genuinely excited to be joining the board. This is a transformative time in healthcare, and I’m here to contribute, support, challenge, and learn. I look forward to getting to know the team, partners, and clients – and to working together to make a real difference.”

Radar Healthcare’s CEO and Co-Founder, Paul Johnson also commented:

“Dominique’s appointment is a huge step forward for us. Her expertise, vision, and leadership will be invaluable as we continue to grow and innovate. We’re delighted to welcome her to help us continue with our mission to truly make a difference in delivering the best possible outcomes across health and social care.”
