Radar Healthcare & Grace Cares roll out bold green statement at the Care Show

Radar Healthcare, together with Grace Cares, will launch an exclusive limited-edition sustainable water bottle at this year’s Care Show, taking place at the NEC Birmingham on 8–9th October 2025. Designed as a bold statement piece, the bottle aims to spark dialogue around social impact, care outcomes, environmental awareness and integrating sustainability into every decision.
Available only at the event, attendees can secure a bottle by either booking an appointment with Radar Healthcare on their stand or by donating to the Grace Cares Social Value Impact Analysis Fund.
In the lead up to the event, Justine Abson, Director of Marketing at Radar Healthcare, and Hannah Montgomery, Marketing, Sustainability and Care Lead at Grace Cares, shed light on the growing intersection between sustainability, social value, and digital impact in the sector.
“Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do at Radar Healthcare. Both Grace Cares and Radar Healthcare strongly believe that we are at an exciting point within the sector and social value and sustainability should be embedded into all decisions. That is why we are pleased to partner to bring this topic to the forefront at the Care Show.”
“If we want to see meaningful, lasting change in health and social care, we need to prove what works, and why it matters. Independent validation of Grace Cares’ social value will help unlock the long-term investment and strategic partnerships needed to scale our impact nationally. Partnering with Radar Healthcare at the Care Show puts a spotlight on the urgent need to embed sustainability and social value into the DNA of every care decision.”
Sustainability & Social Value: The new core of responsible care
The launch supports Grace Cares’ latest campaign: “Help Us Prove Our Impact – and Scale It.” The organisation is raising £6,500 to fund an independent Social Return on Investment (SROI) analysis using the HM Treasury Green Book framework – the UK’s gold standard for evaluating social value and public investment.
The analysis will demonstrate how every £1 invested in Grace Cares generates £4 to £7 in measurable social, economic, and environmental value – by reducing landfill waste, alleviating NHS pressures, and supporting older people and care providers.
To help reach the target, the exclusively designed bottles are available for a suggested donation of £65 each. Every pledge contributes to the external validation needed to secure long-term investment and strategic partnerships.

Digital Sustainability: Why technology’s carbon footprint demands our attention
As the digital world expands, so too does its environmental impact. At Radar Healthcare, a leading provider of quality assurance solutions for the health and social care sector, we recognise the urgent need to address the carbon footprint of technology.
Digital emissions, often overlooked in traditional sustainability planning, can undermine Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals, weaken governance credibility, and compromise transparency in climate reporting. In social care, where digital transformation is accelerating, these emissions pose a hidden but significant threat to public health. The health sector’s responsibility to protect people should also include protecting the environment – because the two are deeply connected.
At Radar Healthcare, we embed sustainability into every aspect of our operations. Our 100% web-based platform is designed to digitise health and social care while minimising environmental impact. We do not manufacture or supply hardware, significantly reducing our direct footprint.
Our key initiatives include:
- ESG Governance: A dedicated ESG Committee which aims to drive best practice across our policies and processes.
- Energy Efficiency: We conserve energy by powering down non-essential equipment and choosing efficient products.
- Paperless Operations: Digital workflows reduce paper usage.
- Low-Impact Travel: We promote green travel and virtual meetings.
- Smaller Office Footprint: Downsizing reduces energy consumption.
- Waste Management: We aim for zero waste to landfill through reduction, reuse, and recycling.
- Responsible IT Disposal: We comply with WEEE regulations for sustainable hardware disposal.
- Sustainable Procurement: Environmental criteria guide our supply chain decisions.
- Environmental Education: Annual training fosters awareness and individual responsibility.
- Global Engagement: We support international campaigns with positive environmental impact.

We partner with Azure to enhance sustainability across our infrastructure, including data centres, and maintain open dialogue with clients to meet their environmental data needs.
Our emissions reporting, supported by Green Project Technologies, follows the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and aligns with UK SECR and PPN 06/21 frameworks -ensuring accuracy, transparency, and accountability.
At Radar Healthcare, we believe digital innovation and environmental responsibility must go hand in hand. As we continue to ensure positive outcomes within the health and social care through technology, we remain committed to protecting the planet for future generations.
